"A few people have asked us about our 2007 debut EP/record, so we've decided to make the final few CD copies available to all of the discog-completionists out there, and for anyone who wants to hear what Arcane's early music sounded like. In all honesty, Ashes is a strange and unbalanced collection of five songs written and recorded by a bunch of 19 year olds, and not really on par with any of the later Arcane music. That said, looking in the better light of the band's subsequent releases, and as a window into where we began our journey, Ashes is an interesting curiosity, if nothing else."
